Word spread quickly and Sin had to move quicker. He’d watched the new potential threat to the islands and found him wanting. He didn’t think much of him and as such had all but dismissed him. Not even enough of a morsel to attempt to toy with merely a nuisance at best. But the goddess was clearly unhappy with his presence so Sin feigned ignorance as a shield. And approached openly. Sneaking up on her now would be a very poor thing.

“Mistress, may I be of assistance?”

Of course ask and you shall receive or be angry and they will cower more like it. Her flair for the dramatic was evident as she turned to face him. Her long emerald silk duster, flairing and catching the barest of air to make her look vaugely like a Disney villan.

Eyebrow lifted" I think you know how you may be of assistance to me, there is very little if nothing that happens here that you don't know my Knight so how has something like a rex lion mingling with my tigers escaped you?"

Even if he didn't think him a threat uli saw the potential of threat if not from him then from what ever he might be running from. That she would let sin figure out.

Arms crossed " even if hes weak or barely a rex hes the strongest on the island and that could cause power struggle besides what rex level that you have ever met wasn't running from or chased away from something else..do we want what chased him looking for him here?"

She knew that the red queen and her goldenblue were making talk of unity but uli knew that it would not be so easy as ordering modern bride and sending invites

And the folly of it as beast they are but under the hand of the bastard they might be dragged into something...else." He had his reservations as the bastatd was of Kenji's line the only one that had survived to adulthood.

It was a flash nothing more most wouldn’t have seen it. It was a smile a smirk and a thanks all in one. He didn’t smile often even when he was happy a frown was usually the only thing that broke the ever placid features of his countenance.

Had he been just a blue they might have been equal match. She understood what shed been told of breeding and deaths but why the red queen had chosen hale over her captive..it was almost comic.

He saw the thoughts flowing behind her eyes and had to admit he was curious. As she spoke he nodded his ascent saying, " Yes my mistress. By your leave?” He asked as he bowed. He had every intention of stirring the pot to a rapid boil.



He considered how he might properly let slip without allowing the subterfuge to show. He would sadly need Kenji. Picking a fight with Kenji over his bastard would be easy and true enough. Then a call or two made just within earshot. The plan was forming and he felt a devilish glee coming over him. It wasn’t battle but it seemed just as diverting.
 

As he caught up she beamed oh yes this would get good," of course you are free to rise. As I want this the sooner the better but first pay your penance for making me wait for you"

She licked and pouted her lips waiting for him to kiss her. It was a tease but reminder that he moved to her whim.

She also found him desirable most of the time and liked the feel of his mouth.

Rising he went to her planting a very unchaste supplication there on her lups his arms aching with the effort to not ravish. Instead he pulled himself away slinking to shadow not quite as full of grace as Kenji might manage.

He was thunder a doom bringer what had he needed to practice the art of stealth. As he neared the prisoner he withdrew his phone staying right at the edge of the beasts hearing.

He was sure the doubt and hope would take root. Now he needed yo wait a few days and have an argument with Kenji as to his gamesmanship.
