He looked at the moon seemingly forever beyond his reach. It was a well-worn punishment he had suffered and would suffer. He wondered why the island goddess had not taken his life. It was by far the more simple and direct way to make amends. Yet she had neither entertained herself with him nor in truth seemingly thought of him. He simply rotted and wasted away from lack of activity. Even the moon whose touch he longed for was denied him. The windows as they were designed to shield her Kiss form the rays of the sun and proof against any but a direct missile hit kept him once more form experiencing the fullness of luna’s caress. It was but the sweetest torture.
He knew she was there and yet could not feel the full true pull of her and that initially was a blessing but now as a bane. So as he had for these last few months he forced himself calm. He forced the beast in his chest to inhabit his mind. He found that place of absolute calm where man was not the enemy nor the master. They inhabited the same space breathing and feeling the full weight of each other. It was a as close to that exalted state as he could get and yet for all of its benefit it was a furthering of the curse he was laboring under.
Even as he was able to shift one finger then the next from pinky to thumb and back then slowly work form hand to shoulder and across. It was a tedious exercise in control and venting. But even as taxing and strenuous as this was he wanted blood he wanted to hunt. He needed the wind on his face as Luna’s grace assaulted his senses. This however would have to do as it was all he had and if he took too much joy in even this he was sure the island Goddess would find a way to make this but sweet torture.

He knew for all his bluster this Red had come to learn power. His attempt at forcing his Changs hand a ruse Kenji saw through as if he were the finest glass vessel.
"Your reason us not unknown to her and as such that will be your torture. So much knowledge here to be had. And you will habe not so much as a drop of its wealth. Why don't you kill yourself. If you put your mind to it it is not so very hard."
Having said so very much in his ever veiled way Kenji slipped once more from sight.

Some time after ger tiger had come by she herself slipped silently to his cell. Stopped she watched him try to shift and out of playfulness fed power into him so quickly where there hadn't been. His eyes would widen as his tiger was just suddenly there under his skin.
Chucking waiting to see if he'd try and shift. If he didn't she'd take it away again. He could either use it briefly or not at all but unless she felt like it he'd not keep it." Do you want to see how much I can give you? I can take anothers strength and give it and you could rival the blue khan"
Licking her lip at the thought of such a battle.

He hadn’t felt the tiger come or leave he was simply suddenly there then not. It angered Leo that he was still able to be snuck up on. It angered him that the power he’d come for was to be denied him. The thought of ending it all was not one that hadn’t occurred to him. It’d plagued him ceaselessly and yet he held on. At this point after all this time he wasn’t sure what his next steps would be. He’d thought on what his punishments would be how he would get through it. And now the main punishment was burning numbing boredom.
He was still reeling from the arrival departure of the Island Goddesses tiger. Her approach he felt. Her power. Not only did he feel its approach he felt it begin to fill him. It was similar enough to the Summer Moon rise ceremony that he for a moment felt home. He felt the weight of the Streak in her voice. And he wavered.
“It is all I have ever wanted to be strong enough to insure the maintenance of my streak.” He began. Pausing he went on. “Is what you offer that or…”

She chuckled it was musical but off and wrong somehow. Hair flipped over her shoulder " I like entertainment and tribute. Your Chang offered nothing until she was irritated and then the godess she didn't belive in was suddenly suitable punishment. Is that not strange to you?"
"I honestly don't know what she sees in him you are handsome strong, a pure tiger of the red line. They mentioned some nonsense about breeding so now according to my sources wedding bells will chime"
She shrugged " so my question is..what is your plan? If I grant you enough power to over take her and your streak what do I get? what will change?"

Stopping himself as he mastered the hurt and rage he was feeling he dared look on her face. She was breathtaking and offered much without ever really doing more than conversing.
"If they are mated I will protect the child as it would be our future. If it is a marriage I will kill him with your strength and rededicate our clans to you and the old ways. Not only in word but in action."
