Whispered in the dark

He eased upon her silent but not shadow made flesh that her pet cat could at times become. He knew as much and yet in this moment simply did. Wearing the minimum weaponry he ever did when not in his chambers or abath he came. Easing form one unushered step to the next. He r chambers were normally inviolate but as a hierophant to the Island Goddess somethings must be dared.



He had much to show her and so little time. He was unsure what her response would be and that enlivened him as nothing else. He had in the last several months strength the doctor on his blood yet resubmerging him. His mind was shattered but his body far stronger than any other fledgling he’d ever witnessed. The gestational fluid of blood kept fresh and his repeated feedings of Sin’s own blood metamorphosed the once man ino something feral yet sated pliable yet singleminded. In short he was a weapon a weapon that could be directed and would have no fear no equivocation. It would accomplish its goal at the cost of everything including itself. He was very proud of his creation and would have Uli look on it and see the potential.



Easing to just within conversational range he made himself known with, “Mistress…”

Something crossed her gaze it was surprised and impressed he was so bold so dedicated. She turned"yes?"

He was so handsome but devious she wondered what he was up to. Closing the space between and giving him am expectant look.

As she closed she caught his breath. She always did, always would. He knew this as much as he knew anything else he knew. Yet this he embraced like none else. “I have a matter for you to look upon. If I may have you escort me?”


It was an odd request form him but one befitting this momentous occasion. A weapon at her disposal to let slip like war itself knowing it was infallible in terms of it being lost. In terms of someone blunting its blade or worse being able to subjugate its will. It was all but perfect. His excitement was visible and he took no pains to hide it.

Curiosity pickled in her mind he was being a bit formal but she could tell he was excited " of course"

Placing her arm in his and walking with him. She told him what she had heard the red chang whisper to her naughty red boy and expressed her excitement at the thought of a new toy.

As she rested her arm in his he began. " My goddess did you know that the humans use machines when assembling their vehicles. These machines are capable of moving nearly as much as the strongest of us. And are designed to outlast the buildings and the plains where they exist. I have had a few brought here for a test."



Started he now went slower building as he went. “Months ago when you won our small wager I had a most intriguing idea. Slaving ones mind to the will of the kiss while making them nearly impervious to all but the most skilled attempts to thwart their mind. Humans it seemed while even hardened by our blood were just too weak. Others of the damned too willful. A joining of the two was necessary. So I spent the last few weeks and months creating what I believe is the perfect amalgam.”



As they entered the lab space he motioned ahead of them. The Scientist who’d died and been treated over the last few months stood outfitted in a Gimps ensemble as something about it appealed to Sin’s humor. “ I present my handiwork. Will it to do something impossible for a human.”
 

Listening as they walked she felt excitement annoyance then awe as she saw his handy work. Blinking at the it that had been a man " what manner of creature is this?"

She circled it but dare not touch it. Give it a task she was told and shrugged " climb the wall with toe and finger tips"

The walls were dark rock and craggy where she'd not bothered to have them smoothed.

He smiled as she inspected his handiwork. This though costly experiment was a success in his book. They process better with the next reaping benefits of size and attributes better. " It as all things are an extension of your will."



AS she spoke issuing and order the creature as he begun calling it began its ascent. Using the full strength of limb it began climbing. The subjects bulk lending the air of impossibility. Yet its singleminded determination provided it with the sheer strength to accomplish the task at the cost of finger pads and toe tips. Yet it climbed heedless of the damage it caused itself. It stopped at the top of the wall awaiting its next orders looking back at them with truly dead eyes.

She clapped like a child " jump creature"

Watching as it again just let go of the wall in a fall that a human would shatter knees in.landing awkwardly compared to a vampire or even most lycanthorps but still it landed then stood" marvelous oh it is a wonderful gift my knight.. now we just need a way to give it orders long distance and a place to send it to for a bit of fun"

Laughing and clapping she was impressed and happy but part of her just a small part realised she'd have to watch her knight more closely as he'd kept this secret and the last time one of them had done so..Hale had happenedone. Thinking of him as well she smirked but no she'd not waste her new plaything on such a foolish fight.

He smiled at the praise. He already ha da plan in place for just such a thing he however was unsure as to the security of such. Modern communication was up to the task and yet fraught with potential risk as well. She would have to be specific and order the monster to return once the task was complete as a failsafe.



He would broach that later for now this was the creature creating another was what was on the agenda. They needed test subjects to see if the process could be replicated in a shorter window with the same results.



“Thank you my goddess. Perhaps a small field test is in order?”
 

She felt his pride and smiled" what's do you have in mind?"

Curious and eyeing the thing suspiciously it was stranded how it fallowed her tracking like some revenant of old." Revenant program..that's what we name it"

Of course she wanted a few more as she was want to often break her toys and would have a replacement ready.
